Outlook 2007 & ACT 2008 Version 10.0.1.199

My installation of ACT is configured to use Office 2007 for sending email and recording history.  However, when I try to send an email within ACT by click on the recipients email address the ACT for Email program is used instead of Outlook.  I was told previously that ACT 2008 is compatible with Outlook 2007.  Can you tell me what I need to do to make the two programs work together.#

I am using Outlook 2007 SP1 and I have the Add-in for ACT.

in act goto tools | preferences | email | email system setup \ check micrisoft| in the next window select use outlook email program instead of act email program

Re: Outlook 2007 & ACT 2008 Version 10.0.1.199

Microsoft Outlook has been setup as the default email program.  ACT just seems to ignore this setup.

I have had Outlook 2003 installed previously which worked fine with ACT.  It's since I upgraded to Outlook 2007 that ACT email software is now being used.  I'm thinking of re-installing ACT in an attempt that it recognises Outlook 2007.

I will let you know how it goes!  Any other ideas?  I'm all ears!

Thanks

If you installed Outlook 2007 after ACT!, you should uninstall and reinstall ACT! so that it installs the correct drivers for the version of Office that you are running
