New installation ACT Premium version 220.127.116.117 Outlook 2003 SP3 Vista Pro
Brand new Sony Laptop Core Duo P8600 2.4GHz 4GB Ram AVGFree antivirus V8
When we send an email we get the blue circle of death. Sometimes freezing Outlook other times takes many minutes to send a simple test email.
Plus we cannot access email from ACT- any attempt to send gives us 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' error. No help from phone support- usual uninstall and re-install Outlook and Act to no avail.
Looking at this site I cannot believe the quality of this product is so poor.

Why not configure ACT to use Outlook instead of the internal email client?
I have never seen the Blue Circle of death, blue screen maybe?
Generally these issues though can be traced back to something in Outlook stopping the integration. You might see what addins you have installed and turn a few of these off and see if this helps
