If I format an Opportunity user field as a date, everything looks OK when you enter a date in the field, however, if you export to Excel from the Opportunity list view the date in Excel is for the previous day, so 24th October 2008 appears as 24/10/08 in ACT, and 23/10/08 in Excel.
Is this a special feature of the UK version or does it apply to the rest of the world as well?

What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?
I seem to remember a similar issue with the Ops List in 10.0.0 and 10.0.1... I think it might have been fixed in 10.0.2

What version of Outlook?
I'll see if I can replicate it when I have time in the next week

Doesn't seem to make any difference which version of Excel you use, the problem is with ACT. I get the same with Excel 2003 and 2007.
The date number is just wrong.
Excel Cell Format___ Date entered in ACT! is 25 October 08
39746 25/10/2008 Exported from a Contact Field
39745 24/10/2008 Exported from a Opportunity User Field

Ok... I have replicated this with the AU version of ACT! 2009, Office 2007 and AU regional settings.
The dates are OK for the standard fields (Edit / Create / Esimated Close, but a day early for date fields in the custom area.
Would like someone with the US version to see if this is the same for them

I wonder if this is the international date format or actually code in the int'l versions?
David, if you do any testing, remember to try both

Here's a SWAG. I think the GMT offset is not applying correct when the data is exported to Excel. I suspect that it is correct for GMT minus zones which would include the Americas but has problem with the plus zones.
