Opportunity report - only show if the OpenDate is within Sales Date Range?

I'm trying to customize an Opportunity Report where I can see how many quotes were sent out this month and how may were won. Currently the report also shows the Won Opportunities that were opened in previous months but closed this month.

Is there anything I can do to the script? Something like;

If OpenDate is within Sales Date Range Then
    Custom2 = Count(OpportunityID1)

Endif

Thanks in advance for any help!!

No. The date reqange filtering for oppertunities uses the estimated close date if the opportunity is still open and the actual close date if closed. No other date range filtering is available.

Re: Opportunity report - only show if the OpenDate is within Sales Date Range?

All I need is one field to count the opportunity that was opened this month. Is this not possible?

I've seen something like this in "Won Opportunities by Actual Closing Month". If I can't use the Sales Date Range, can I at least specify what month/year I would like the info to be fetched from?

Something like this?

GetMonth = DatePart("m",FOpenDate1)
GetYear = DatePart("y",FOpenDate1)

If GetMonth = 2 And GetYear = 2011 Then
    Custom2 = Count(OpportunityID1)

I don't have the developer's guide, so I'm blind on the field names, and mostly guess from copy&pasting.

If all you need is a count you could do it with an advanced query.
