I am having an issue with Act! Premium for Web v188.8.131.52 using a shared database.
After I login and click on Contacts on the left-hand side, if I choose New Opportunity and then enter the details, I see the box where I would normally set the Status but it is empty. I am unable to make a selection for Open, Closed-Won, Closed-Lost, etc
I have tried IE11 and Safari but both exhibit the same behavior.
If I use the Act Premium desktop version (17.2), it works fine.
This was not an issue until I upgraded to SP2 from SP1.

I just recieved a call from a customer experiencing the same thing, updated from 16.1 to 17.2 and the Opportunity Status field has seemed to disappeared from the layout. Wheither it is in IE, Chrome or Firefox, it is just not an option to view.
I was able to delete > re-add the Status field. Grouped opportunity fields with a rectangle around it had to be deleted. I understand it is an overlaying issue, but would like to know a work if there is one.

I believe this is a problem caused by the SP2 patch. I created a new Virtual Machine and tested a new install with new database and as soon as I installed the SP2 patch, the Opportunities field was broken / uneditable.
As far as I know, there is no workaround. We will have to wait for the new patch to be released from Swiftpage.

Hi Gary W,
Are you sure you are using Act v17 (Web) with SP2 applied? I have tried ALL browsers including iPad and iPhones mobiles and still not working.
I installed Firefox and tried it as well and nada. See screen capture... I am definitely open to suggestions though!!

It appears that this is a known issue with layouts on Act! v17.2 Web, where certain elements on layouts become hidden and cannot be seen. This is because boxes placed around these elements become in front of the other element. Sometimes editing the layout and sending these boxes to the back or making them transparent will fix the issue.
The issue is recorded as a defect and will be reveiwed by our developers to be fixed in a future release. For the time being, I would suggest experimenting with the layout designer, or if you need further assistance, call us on 866 873 2006.
