I've been asked to update our Opportunities Quote Template to be compatable with Word 2010.
I've played around with the content of the template in the past and dealt with the associated headches! So I'm hoping there is a quick and easy way to change the Word element of the template to a .docx rather than a .doc document ? Any help will be greatfully received!
( We're currently using ACT Premium v.13/Office 2010)

Because the templates are coded to work with fields originating in ACT, you can't change the extensions. However, I am wondering as to the reason for your question? I can't think of a scenario where that would be necessary? Am I missing something?

My colleagues are irritated that the Word document opens in "[Compatability Mode]" each time a new quote is made. Now that I know that there is no solution then they will have to live with it. As you said, it's not a major issue. Thanks for your help
