It has been whittled down now that my database is going to be used to store contacts for two departments. Sales and Franchising. Each department has there own layout both using different fields for the data and information they require on both main window and tabs - some fields are the same but there is a lot of extra details. Both departments contacts will probably never match one another in terms of them needing to be used in another department - can I define two main category primary keys within the one database to define each departments contacts or will this conflict in any way.
Two Layouts - Two Departments of Users (Sales and Franchise) - Two Primary Keys to Identify Each contact within their respected department of contact use?
Thanks
Stuart

Is this an easy doing or something I would have difficulty doing ?

It would be fairly easy. Two specific layouts or one layout with separtment specific tabs. ID Status to categorize contact and dynamic groups for the departments.
