Office 64 bit intergration.

[ Edited ]

We are still seeing a number of issues with the latest versions of ACT and integration with 64 bit office. The ACT Office addins cause COM errors more often than not and installing 32 bit office always resolves.

Just asking for other users experiences to see if this is still a general problem.

Re: Office 64 bit intergration.

One of the issues seems to be around where the user had a 32 bit version of office sometime in the past but now has 64 bit system.

ACT seems to still think it has the 32 bit system when it does the autodetect as part of the ACT installation and installs the wrong office add-ins.

fully affirmative YES.

We never ever allow(ed) 64-bit Office installations to be used with any ACT version in order to keep the necessary debugging manageable.
