Object Reference not set to an Instance of an Object When Opening Outlook

Sage Act Premium 2011 // Outlook 2010

Whenever I open the Outlook Client, this error pops up and once OK is pressed it goes away, but it is becoming a nuisance, this is happening on 2 seperate Machines, both Windos XP Pro machines..

Any Help would be appreciated..

Re: Object Reference not set to an Instance of an Object When Opening Outlook

Hello bblade88,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. This may be an issue with Outlook connecting to the ACT! database when opening (assuming the two machines are accessing a shared database). On these machines, try removing the address book for your database and instead adding the one for the local demo database (ACT2011Demo) to see if the error occurs.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Sounds like something to try, they are accessing the same database. Now if the demo address book works, what would be the steps to fix this with the shared database?
