I am in charge of maintaining an ACT database for an office of 10 people. We are having a strange issue - one of our tabs (an important one) is missing. It was a custom tab that we had been using for our own information (if it matters, it was called "Real Estate").
It's only that one tab (it was there last week) and all of the other ones seem to be present. If I go into the layout designer, it's not there either. And it's not under "Hidden Tabs" so I can't bring it back into view.
Any idea what's going on? Thanks in advance.

Can't give a reason for the tab being missing, but you can restore a backup of the database to a different database name ('Restore As' option), then copy the layout from restored database to the main database. Instructions for 'Restore As' option are in the following article: KB Article 19211
