Could anyone please tell me where the custom message (Tools - Preferences - Notifications) is kept? Is it in the database?
Or maybe a config file?

It is in the database under TBL_PREFERENCE and the name of the row is Notification/CustomMessage/Message

I have been testing the Custommessage option in SQL Management Studio.
I can see when the custom message is enabled in Act!, there are three different rows added to the table (Message, MessageLink, MessageTitle).
However if I set the Custommessage/Enable to True in SQL, it doesn't add those rows automatically.
Does anyone know by any chance how those 3 rows can be added to the database table without going in to Act! and tick the Custom Message option?
Is it hard coded?
One of our customers are looking at using the Custom Message option but without opening Act!.
They have multiple servers with multiple databases so it would be time consuming to open Act! and enable the custom message manually.
