Hi - we are using an older version of Act and I am looking at upgrading to the newest version.
We like the idea of having read only or browse users, but it looks like they may not be able to write letters using Act templates and MS Word. I read the documentation on Browse users and it says they are supposed to be able to do word processing. Is that correct?
I was hoping to be able to avoid purchasing extra licenses for people who only need to be able to view the contacts and lookup phone number, addresses and prepare letters to our contacts using templates. Do we need to pay for full licenses and use the restricted user account settings to allow these employees the ability to use templates to write letters?
