New Outlook email no longer pops up when using ACT! & clicking email field

Just noticing that after the latest update, when I click on the email field in ACT!, a new email opens up using Outlook 365 but no longer pops up. I have to hover the mouse by the Outlook logo on the taskbar and click on the new email to start entering information.  The email does include the the mail to: info.  I use Norton Security too but don't see a field preventing pop ups.  Anyone else having this issue?

Right...  We are waiting for a solution that Fix this problem...

Fritz,

On my own PC I had the same experience for a week or so after upgrading to 20.1, but I notice now, inexplicably,  the pop-up is back. Possibly a few reboots of your PC may fix it.  I run Update 3 for Act! Premium 20.1 and same version of Office as you.

Updated to Act! Premium Version 20.1.120.0, Update 4. No quick fix to the issue though.  Clicked on email field, new email is created but does not pop up - I have to hover by Outlook logo on taskbar and select the new email.  Anyone else experiencing this issue?

We're currently tracking some known issues where the email window doesn't 'pop-up' correctly.

It doesn't happen for all users, and some people have reported (as gleo has above) that the behaviour goes away on it's own.

We are looking into this though, to see if there's anything that can be done!

On further use I'm finding that mainly the create message window does pop but sometimes not. I haven't worked out the conditions for when it does not pop (on the same machine).

The window does not pop up on mine. The Outlook icon in the tray simply flashes and the underscore turns red.

I had an email pop-up and caught me so off guard!  Only happened the one time yesterday and not again...
