After upgrading to ACT! 2009/11 Prem Ex, my client has continual problems syncing because of out of memory problems. I have altered the buffer size in the Act.Framework.Synchronisation.Service.Exe.Config file, but that seem to make much difference. The work-around has been to stop/start the sync service.
On investigation I found that the act.framework network sync service was using 1.4GB of ram on the server. After retarting service this dropped the total of ram used from 5.02GB to 3.6GB.
Does anyone know why the service hogs so much RAM? Is there anyway of stopping this?
ACT! is installed on a new, highly spec'd virtual Win 2003 server.
