Needed Help Failed to Synchronize

Dear Forum users.

 

I have some problem due to i tried to use synchronize function.

 

I used the sync via network, and from yesterday i had this error message before that i didn't have any problem.

 

The error message as  below.

 

 

Failed to Synchronize with the server. Server Error Description:  Incorrect syntax near '*'. Contact your administrator for assistance.

 

 

Pls let me know how i can solve this problem and thanks in advance for you guys help.

have you added a lot of fields to the database?

if you have added a lot there's a bug that was fixed in version 8 so some find there is nothing they can do.

Concider upgrading to the new version 11.1 too.

What version of ACT! are you using? There is a Knowledgbase article pertaining to this error in ACT! 2006 (8.x). The KB has a hotfix attached

We are using the ACT!7 (Ver.7.0.4.82) and do you think that this hotfix will work our version?

Yes, the hotfix is applicable to both ACT! 2006 (8.x) and ACT! 2005 (7.x).

I've tried to install and run the attached hotfix but it couldn't run....

 

The error message showed 'This exe file is not a proper Win32 applicaiton program' something...
