We just upgraded to ACT! 2011 Premium. There are 4 of us accessing ACT from our server and then we will have 10 accessing it through a remote server. I have created remote databases for each of the 10 outside of the office. Is this the best way to access it? Will they need to sync? Or should I just set up their login and password on the server database and have them access their contacts from there?
One point - the 10 outside of the office are not always connected to the server using a very good connection. It would be nice if they had their contacts on their computer and could then upload their information.

Hi, can I suggest using network sync - you can set it up so both internal network and external internet users can both sync - have a look at the knowledgebase article - http://bit.ly/gRezYy
Note that you will need to open a port on your router. It works very well for my customers.
