Moving Multiple Company Records

Does anyone know is there is a way to select multiple company records and move them into a subgroup?

Thanks!

Re: Moving Multiple Company Records

Shawn, the groups and Company entities are not interchangeable.  I would suggest using the criteria to determine who is in what group or Company.  For example, you could have a group called Customers in Atlanta.  The criteria would be 1) city = Atlanta and 2) ID/Status = customer.  Then whenever you add a contact that meets those criteria, the contact automatically gets added to the group.  If they move from Atlanta to Miami, then they would be removed from the group.

Re: Moving Multiple Company Records

Hi Brenda,

What I was referring to is moving companies into a hierarchy, not a group. Right now I have a list of branch offices and I have to manually move each one.

So for example moving:

Giant Eagle - Store 1

Giant Eagle - Store 2

Giant Eagle - Store 3

Giant Eagle - Store 4

Giant Eagle - Store 5

To get:

Giant Eagle - Corporate

-- Giant Eagle - Store 1

-- Giant Eagle - Store 2

-- Giant Eagle - Store 3

-- Giant Eagle - Store 4

-- Giant Eagle - Store 5

Thanks!
