We only have two users that use ACT! right now and would like to repurpose the server that it resides on for other things. I was wondering if it would be possible to move the ACT! database to their computers and have their ACT! work without the server anymore? It was used before I have join this company and have never used ACT! so please bear with me for not being very educated in ACT!

The database can be relocate to another machine. If 2 people are to use it, then you may still require it to be shared from one of the machines.
The process will require detaching and reattaching databases to and from SQL instances, changing machine names in ACT! etc, or even uninstalling and reinstalling ACT!
Depending on your level of expertise with PC's, I would suggest you contact your local ACT! Consultant for assistance.
