We have had Act for sometime. Yet we still find getting the sales staff to follow up and note in act difficult. Any suggestions to get current employees and new employees using ACT daily would be appreciated.

Two things. Get the support and "buy-in" of management, and identify "key players" on your sales staff.
If management will tell/require users to "put it in ACT" they will begin using it. Once you've identified your key players in sales, give them some one-on-one ("special") training and show them how much easier and more efficient ACT can make them. Sales people in particular can be very competitive, so if you make it a competition...
