Today was the 3rd or 4th time since installing the latest version that when I started ACT that it did not automatically open the last database.
I had to go through the entire process of redoing the settings - like email.
Have you had this experience?

It sounds like your ACT! preferences file may be damaged or in a dynamic location.
What version of ACT! are you using?
What operating system do you use?
Are your Windows user files local to your machine or on a server or network location (the preferences file is stored in your Windows user files)?
