Modifying pipeline report to pull values from user-defined fields

We customized our opportunities view by removing the fields "Weighted Total" and "Total" and adding new fields called "Est Rev - MO" (Estimated Revenue per month) and "Est Rev - YR". We modified the Pipeline report to pull from the new fields, but the values are not shpwing up in the report. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Re: Modifying pipeline report to pull values from user-defined fields

Do you manually fill those fields in the database?

Yes, they are filled in manually. No calculation.

If the values are in the fields then the problem has to be the report template design.

Re: Modifying pipeline report to pull values from user-defined fields

Are there any tricks to ensuring values are pulled properly when designing a report template?

Not really tricks. Report templates are very structures and not related to word processing at all. When you create or modify a report template you're actually creating a program to extract data from from the database and format it for output.

Without examining your report template there's no way I can suggest exactly why the fields aren't filling.
