Mobile Number Not Syncing

I have a remote user, he updated a contact by adding his mobile number to his contact record. He came into the office and ran a sync with the server, but the mobile number didn't get updated on the server. Any ideas?

Did he refresh (Ctrl-F5) or close ACT! and re-open it? You need to do this to see changes from sync
