I am running Windows 7, ACT Premium 2013 (Version 15.0.301.0)
I have ACT installed on two machines with the exact same setup...
On my laptop everything works perfectly fine with no issues.
On my desktop, however, Microsoft Word is not listed as an available option for Word Processor.
I have both Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013 installed on both machines, as I mentioned, ACT works fine on the laptop.
What am I missing here? What I am doing to cause Word to not be available? It is a real issue since all of my templates are built in word and now I cannot use them and I am forced to work on my laptop which isn't a good thing.
I have re-started, etc. and no luck, everytime I go to TOOLS>PREFERNCES>COMMUNICATION only the Act Word Processor is available. What gives?

i would recomend to uninstall ACT, then uninstall both versions of office, and then install Office2010 as Office2013 is not supported by ACT2013 as you can see in the link below. when outlook is installed and configured then i would install act2013.
If you want to continue to use office2013, then you should consider to purchase a upgrade to ACT16.
you may want to look at this KB´s listed below
improve Outlook Speed with act installed

If you choose to stay on ACT! 2013, you can also download an addon which will allow it to work with Office 2013.
