Menu bar how to hide some elements

In a late version of ACT!, i think it was ACT! 6 I was able to hide some elements according to level/security role. Thanks to that, some people were not confused at all with all various buttons in the software, and they have very limited, restricted access to data base, something what they needed to perform their work. At the moment, we are working on ACT! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2007 (9.0) (EX Edition) Version 9.0.1.162 and there is no way I can limite some access.

Some people would be very happy to have for example three/four buttons, as other buttons, they simply do not understand, or do not use at all. Anyone can help ???

Thanks for your patience, it's my third post today.

Re: Menu bar how to hide some elements

Like with ACT! 6.0, you can't limit items based on security.

You can customise the menus and toolbars on a machine as per this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/3og7mc
