(Using ACT Prem 10) and Office 2007 Pro
I try to mail merge a document and get the following message.....
"Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corupt"
My PC works perfect in every other way - I highly doubt that there is a problem with my memory ---
does anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure that you have turned off User Account Control in Vista. Follow the steps in this Knowledgebase article to turn UAC off:
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Ok i started looking for more strange reasons for this, as i got little else to do before i fix it
So a large Microsoft update came through just a day or two after the last successful mail merge, included in it was a Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable, however in Control Panel / Programs and Features it now shows two copies would this be causing the issues with email and merge from Act????
