Hi - Our consultancy company is transitioning from an "on premise" multi-server-based environment to hosted/cloud based environment.
We are soon subscribing to Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook), have already migrated some of our apps to Amazon Web Services (AWS), and are assessing this coming week whether to migrate our Sage/SwiftPage Act! Premium to (as I understand it) to Swiftpage's hosted environment.
BTW, we have been using Act! (on-premise) since 1990, nearly 26 years now, maintaining more than 16,000 records, and are understandably hesitant to move to another CRM application like dynamics CRM. Much depends upon the matter presented below.
In our present environment, we seamlessly sync Act's emails, activities, and such with Outlook. (BTW Network Solutions hosts our Exchange, but that, too, may migrate to MS.)
Could someone definitively explain/confirm (a) degree of hosted ACT's integration with MS Office 365 and (b) outline steps for doing so?
Many thanks in advance.

Act currently only integrates with MS Office locally installed applications though the use of add-ins.
We have a Knowledgebase article that details the configuration: http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19465
There's also a useful video in our Training Library that shows the process: http://training-act.com/act/act-lib-prem/en-us/Launch.html (Web Access > Configuring Outlook Integration)
