MS Office 2007 Language Packs breaks office link with ACT 2010 & 2011

[ Edited ]

I am finding that the link between ACT and Word is broken when MS office is run with additional language packs. I have tried on different windows platforms with both ACT 2010 & 2011.

The error message is attempted to read or write to protected memory. I have tried all knowledge based fixes (that I know off) without success. I have a feeling this may be a defect not tested by ACT. (It did work OK in ACT 2008)

For the record a complete uninstallation of office and ACT plus ACT regclean removal tool.exe then re-installation of office, language packs and then ACT has been tried.

Anyone had this problem or used ACT 2010 or 2011 UK version with Office Language Packs (France & Germany)?

I would suggest asking one of the EU ACCs...

Many of them are members of the ACT! Fanatics LinkedIN Group, so you might try there: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=49896 - it's free
