I host my ACT with GoDaddy. I discovered that by upgrading my server to a newer server, it is a lot cheaper than keeping my old server with them. So, I have purchased the hosting of a new server. We currently only sync 3 remotes. I'd like to confirm the proper steps.
After installing the latest version of 11.0 from a link on ACT.com, I assume I need to follow these instructions found on this form?
Also, while I am here, does anyone know of a faster way to transfer large files than using Remote Desk Top? When I create a new remote database, it is about 4GB. I think it is so large because I use ACT for about 2500 contacts and it includes their documents. I scan documents in at 200dpi and attach them to their ACT files. Plus, I have over 400 custom fields. Anyway it is taking over 14 hours to transfer that 4GB.
