Anyone know of a better way of handling this? It seems like making a regular user a manager to achieve this is overkill as it then allows them to modify the schema and interface - something I REALLY don't want users to have the ability to do.
I'm not sure why there isn't some level that allows users to fully edit/modify/delete records but still withold the ability to customize and edit the interface.

I should note, I'm aware that the record manager can do this without the manager role, however we'd like any sales person to be able to manage all the records to fix problems they notice.
You can't link someone else's contact without the manager role.
