I have been using Crystal reports to write reports from our ACT Database. All has been great until now I would like to do some reporting on Groups. I cannot figure out how to link the Group table to the Contact table as there does not seem to be uniqueidentifer field. I have tried linking from Contact_opportunity to Group_opportunity to Group table with no success.
The Group table only has one uniqueindentifier which is GROUPID. I can in no way figure out how to link it back to a contact.
The report I am trying to create is to simply list a contact and all of the groups it is a member. Has anyone has experience using crystal and could tell me how they linked their tables? (Inner, Left Outer, Right Outer, etc.)
These are the tables I am using.
I was able to link the first 3 with no issues. It's the GROUP tables i cannot figure out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a separate table that links contacts to groups. You need to link through that table.I don't recall the table name without doing research but I did set up the link one time for a report that I did.

That's what I am assuming, but am still having a hard time nailing it down.
I thought I had it figured out by going from CONTACT to GROUP_OPPORTUNITY to GROUP, but I'm guessing I must have my inner/outer joins messed up because I has getting all kinds of whacky report results.

Just to help others who found the original question as i did:
table group_contact has contactid & groupid
A usefull way to explore all the tables is to setup an OleDbConnection and use the following sql:
SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES
for the db I'm working on it provides the following list.
