Licensing ACT Premium

I was hoping you cold help us with our problem - we have 7 remote licensed users and 1 licensed server for the main database.  One of our users had a computer crash and had to reload the software.  After restoring the data and performing a sync we now get an error telling us that we are in violation and have too many users for the number of licenses.  This is not true.  When I check the manage users on the server everyone is accounted for.  Any suggestions?  Thanks you.

Re: Licensing ACT Premium

Firstly, what is the nature of your licensing? Did you purchase 7 individual access codes, or one code which supports seven licenses?

Make sure your that your ACT server which hosts the central database has all licenses registered with it.

It's possible you had more than one license registered with that remote user's version of ACT, and when you re-installed you may have registered it with less licenses.

Again, you have to check the nature of your license codes, and ensure all are registered on the main database.

ACT! is licensed be the number of users in the database. If you have multiple license keys, you can add them to the main database in - Help | Register ACT!
