I need a way to launch an activity series immediately after creating a new contact.
I tried setting a trigger on the last required field the user would enter, but this causes a problem for new contacts because you can not schedule activities with a new contact until after the contact is saved. So you must save a new contact before you launch the activity series. I'm out of ideas and we need to get this to work. Any good ideas would be appreciated.
We are currently using ACT 2008 and are upgrading to 2009 sometime next week.

I don't think there is an option for this in ACT!. It's ceertainly possible to do this with the SDK... but would need a programmer to create the plug-in
You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here - http://www.act.com/community/feature
Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.
