Knowledge Base Frustrations

Since the change of the KB structure it as been a continual problem to find relevent information quickly.


Current problem is an ACT! error message displayed in ACT! 2009 Premium  which is "Error in application" when attempting to merge two database.  Both open correctly in the same computer but willnot allow an import or merge.


You would expect to be able to look up standard error messages or at least with the fuzzy search get a response containing the error text. Instead you get 25 pages to try and work through.


The current indexing and saerch patterns just don't meet expectations.


Anyone know the KB article that addresses this issue or what it means?

try to filter your search with "2009" plus the error message - see if that works
