I am having issues when a document is attached to a contact then you try and open that document the word processor is not launching. Then if you double click again and it will still not open if you look at the task manager under processes you have multiple sessions of act.exe running and you have to end all of them but the one using the most memory then try to open again. After several tries it will finally open.

What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?
What extension are the files?
What operating system?

Any reason you're using the ACT! WP and not Word?
Are you running on a LAN or single user? If LAN is this issue just one machine or multiple?
You might try updating to 10.02 and see if that helps (if multiple users, ALL users need to update).
