Using APFW 18.104.22.168 hosted on Windows Server 2012 R2. the user who is having the issue is using IE 11.
From the task list user will click on the check box to clear an activity and the first time this will work correctly. Generally the second time the user will click the checkbox to clear another activity, but this time it will not be the correctly selected activity to clear.
I have watched the user and they have been able to replicate this for me. Any ideas why this would be happening? See screenshot below. It shows the activity the user wants to clear highlighted in grey and the dialog box of the activity that will be cleared.

Back up the database on the web server
A - File menu - Backup - Database - CLICK BROWSE to place this backup in the Documents folder
B - When you finish the backup process, put a copy of that ZIP file in a USB drive or external disk for more security
1. Install Service Pack 1 of Act! Premium 20 On the Web server - Click here to start the download
Note: This update requires an active Act! Premium subscription or Business Care plan
Then restart the server and install the Act! v20.1 Update 7 - Click here to start the download
2. Use Google Chrome daily for routine operations in the database
