Is this an ACT & Word conflict issue? changes to Global Template + more?

When I turn on or restart a laptop, I may have 4 to 8 Word documents open. They're all blank.  As I start to close them I get promote regarding changes to Global Template. I keep clicking on No, try to close, etc. It can take 5-10 minutes to resolve this issue.  Am I the only one? Has anyone else resolved this issue?  I haven't been on this forum in about 60 days. I'm checking if it is okay to upgrade to V22. Maybe that will take care of this recurring issue?

That was a known issue with Microsoft, but I believe it has been fixed.

 

Are you using Office365, which is now called Microsoft365?  If you are, make sure you have installed the latest updates.  The easiest way is to sign in to your Microsoft account and reinstall Microsoft365.
