Is there a problem with the new licencing system?
Concerned about the number of ACCs reporting problems in licensing ACT V21
Was planning 2 upgrades for clients this weekend and now concerned, anyone else having problems?

This is my day#2 of error while attempting to active act pro v21 product license. I posted it on the act pro forum.
One of my customers was successful after the support person manually copy pasted the serial number into some file / area?
I am on hold again with support, wait time so far = 40 min?
The new ACT! QlmLicenseWizard not so hot at the moment.?

As soon as I filled in the information above received emails saying Premium is causing problems for some users trying to register as country field cannot be filled in on registration form.

I have a new client who is trying to do a trial and is being told the trial has exceeded it's 30 day period.
Support are trying to correct this but so far no luck.

Yes, I had a bad ACT!v21 Pro installer. The new QlmLicenseWizard part of it was missing a qlm dll file.
On my windows 7 professional pc;
Error: Error loading the settings file C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\\Qlm1.xml. Ensure your settings file was converted to the new format. Error: There is an error in XML document (3, 2316).
This is an issue with Windows and WMI.
To resolve this issue you will need to use the attached files.
Act Pro V21 download link contains only the qlmlicensewizard files.:
I think this link will download just the ACT!v21pro QlmLicenseWizard needed. ????
Note: I am not 100% certain this is the correct link to get just the two qlm files needed?
Would the Forum Admin please confirm correct link for the two qlm files?
Serial number:-------- NEEDED..
Step 1. Ensure that Act is closed.
Step 2. Unpack the files in the zip folder
Step 3. Replace the QLMLicenseLib.dll and QLMLicensewizard.exe in the install directory with that of the zip folder.
Step 4. Go to this location C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\QlmLicenseLib\v4.0_11.1.18326.3__9c65e32c060523a1
Step 5. Check the version of the QlmLicenseLib file if it’s 11.1.18326.3 replace it with the contents of the folder.
Step 6. Open Act! And register Act!

I also wanted to report licensing issues. I planned an upgrade to version 8 for 50+ systems last night but had to stop.
I only updated two test PCs.
Upon opening Act! after the update I get the message "The serial number used is valid, however it is not entitled to this version of act!. Would you like to launch he license wizard?"
You must click Yes or it closes out of Act!.
The License Wizard opens and it says "Your license is activated" with a little check mark thing. If I click finish it's back to the first message about "the serial number used is valid".

So if I click yes to back into the wizard I select "activate your license" to appease it. Next Select Activate Online. I filled out the information (doing 56 of these is going to be fun). When I click Register it says the customer was updated successfully. I click next. My serial number is already pre-populated and has a little checkmark. At the bottom it says "Your license is activated". I click "activate license key" anyway. The button lights up blue for a second then grays out.
I click finish.
I'm back to the original "The serial number is valid, , however it is not entitled to this version of act!. Would you like to launch he license wizard?"
Click yes repeats this. Clicking no closes Act!.
Will there be another update to address this?

Regarding not able to select country field on the new licence registration form elsewhere it is reported using the num locks key overcomes the issue.
Wanted to try to get issues reported here as well to help anyone having problems but all very odd - !!!

Latest problem - Client has valid Premium 20.1 perpetual Licence and has new machine. Installed 20.1 which slipstreamed in the new licencing wizard.
Tried to register but does not recognise the old licence. Do we need to get a new replacement licence from Swiftpage?
