Is it possible to have ACT 2006 and ACT 2008 installed on the same computer?

Is it possible to have ACT 2006 and ACT 2008 installed on the same computer? I have done it with ACT 2000 and ACT 2005. But, I need it to work with 2006. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Brandon,

This is not possible, the later version will see that ACT! 2006 is installed and prompt you to uninstall it.

Why do you need to run both versions on one machine?

When I tried installing 2008, I got the prompt to uninstall the existing version. I was thinking there was a way to have both. Apparently not. Unless there is something we dont know.

Multiple databases in multiple versions.

Only with something like VMWare.

You could have one of ACT! 3.0-6.0 and one of ACT! 7.0-10.0 as the Symantec and Sage editions were quite different. But you can't have two from the same set in the same Windows install
