Is it possible to auto-sort the opportunity list?

Act Premium 2010 12.0.409.0 Hotfix 3

Due to the fact that ACT! does not work properly with 120dpi, and I need 120dpi to see my dinky screen, I live with the bug which does NOT allow me to to select the Status drop down list in the Opportunities screen.  So I see all opportunities, Open, Closed, Inactive,....   I have to click on "Sort List" on the leftto sort by Status (Ascending) and then Opportunity Name (Descending) to ge the view I wanta lot.

I dont want to address the bug, been through it, no way to get around, sucks.

Is there some way to create a quick macro or have ACT start with that sort?

Hello Bob,

Unfortunately, there is no mechanism for creating macros. But, you still access the filters by right-clicking in the list and selecting Filter Opportunities. You can even add this command to the Opportunities List toolbar:

- From Opportunities List, go to Tools/Customize/Menus & Toolbars

- Under the Commands tab, scroll down and select View from the "Categories" box

- In the "Commands" box, scroll down and locate Filter Opportunities, and drag and drop the command onto the toolbar at the top of the list

- Click Close to save the customization

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
