Every 10 secs the icon which is used to attach emails with the correct contact flashes briefly in the task bar. Is this normal? I don't have any email program open.
Just curious as its mildly annoying and distracting.

If you see the icon with an X, it means there are emails that failed to record history to your database. To make the icon go away, you will need to clear the Not Attached Messages tab. You can do so by double clicking the icon and you'll see the tab there.

The icon flashing is both normal and new to 11.0.
There are 3 icons that can now appear in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen:
An envelope with a moving green arrow - Email are being processed and histories are being created.
An envelope with a red X - Emails have been processed and one or more could not be "properly" processed.
An envelope - You are looking at the list of processed emails, and there are no errors.
Normally the Green Arrow icon only appears occassionally as new emails are processed. If you send emails regularly, this icon will also appear fairly regularly.
The Red X icon indicates that there are emails which could not be processed. Often, this appears because no contacts could be found to attach a history to for an email.
If you double click on this icon, a new interface which allows you to review which emails have been processed. In that dialog, there is a tab for both sucessful and failed emails.
If an email could not be attached to a contact, you can see why, and manually correct the issue such as:
Create new contacts
Ignore it and just not processess the email
Retry (if there were temporary network issues for example)
