Is WORD 2007 still the latest version of WORD that can be selected as the ACT word processor?

I have WORD 2010 and ACT 9 Premium. I have been unable to  use my WORD templates in ACT and have now learned that WORD 2010 is not an option. Is this still the case?

If it is, would it work to use another PC, select WORD 2007 as the word processor, create the templates and save them and then access them from PCs running ANY version of WORD (including WORD 2010?

No, this would not work.  YOu would either need to upgrade your ACT or downgrade your Office.
