Incoming email not recorded in history

Hello,

 

I use Outlook 2007. If I send an email, it records the history. But if the contact answers back, there is no record created.

 

I believe it was working on the demo version when I tried.

 

My preferences (Tools -> Preferences -> Admin Tab) for attachements all checked.

I restarted Act.Outlook.Services.exe and cleared the HistoryQueue Folder.

 

What else is left to do?

The recording of e-mail messages to History, when ACT! and Outlook are configured correctly, is only a send function.  The recording does not happen when a message is received, only when sending.  So, it sounds like yours is working correctly.

 

However, I believe you can setup an Outlook Rule to record messages when received, but that is not the typical setup.  See the attached article on this setup:  http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23020/kw/23020

I am using ACT Pro V 17 and Outlook 2010.  Like the previous inquiry ACT was recording both sent and received emails.  I got some help with an ACT/Outlook integration problem the other day and bnow it is only recording sent history.  So, I do beleive it should be recording both.  I don't see any specific option to select what type of email is recoreded in history when I go throught the emial setup.
