I'm trying to do a test import from Excel into Act! in the Demo version. The import uploaded, however it only imported the name, email address, and ID Status (in the Excel it was "Prospect" and in Act after the import, it came out as "Friend" even though there are 10 columns worth of information. There are no empty rows - I'm only importing one contact. I am also unable to turn on duplicate checking, it's greyed out.
I would really like to figure this out as importing contact info would save me a lot of time in the future.

The default needs to be set at Custom by the Act! developers - it best to do this always to 'eyeball' the field selection.
Never use the 'Typical'!!
