I have tried to import a list of new companies as a remote user with Sage ACT! Premium 2013 Version 22.214.171.124. The wizard goes through all of the steps and the import seems to complete, but when I do a lookup for the new companies they aren't there. Do I need to be logged in to the main server as an admin? If so, why does the wizard take me through all of the steps only to end up not importing anything?
Solved it. Dumb mistake on my part, but I learned something new in ACT. Under the 'Lookup' tab there is an option for 'Other Fields'. Here you can select 'Import Date'. This lets you verify that records were actually imported. My mistake was that I had a column header in the import file labeled incorrectly so that when I tried to do a lookup for the imported companies, they didn't show up.
