Imported Company Records but Record Manager did not come through

I have imported the company records and correctly mapped the record manager to a field in the text file.  However, all of the companies show me as the record manager, not the individual listed in the file.  Needless to say, this is very frustating, particularly since there is no option to remove companies in mass. 
 
Has anyone else had trouble with the record manager not being imported?

ACT!'s import always sets the Record Manager to be the user doing the import except when import from another ACT! database where it can retain the data from the source if the users exist in both
 
itImport allows you to import and set the record manager

Thanks, Mike.   I tried to download both by saving locally and running the exe from the website, but I keep getting this error message:
 
"Package not found on the network or you are not connected.  Please connect and press ok to continue or press cancel to cancel download"

When you download, it's a ZIP file. Then extract the setup.exe to your hard hrive and run that
