Import error

Hello. I have a user that created two local databases on her computer. She wanted to share those with other users but didn't set them up correctly during the initial creation.


I have gone to the server and created both databases. I have succesfully imported data from one of the databases, and it is working fine. The other database I created using the exact same procees but, when I try to import the data, I get "error in the application" after the "loading" box comes up for one minute or so. I have even tried importing the first database into the second one I created and that works fine. 


There are no other details whatsoever including an error number.


Any help would be appreciated. Of course, our support contract ended last month so I can't get any "official" help.

I'd try running the data repair... if you mention which version of ACT! you're refering to, I might point you in the right direction as the steps are different for different versions.
