IMessage:Access violation

Act v17

Outlook 2016

 

We're having a problem with some users where by when they send a mail merge they get the following error:Capture.PNG

 

I have tried completing the solution in the following article to no prevail:

Hi Richard,

 

Just to confirm, was Office installed before Act? If not, Act should be reinstalled.

 

If re-registering Redemption.dll does not solve the issue, try running both Act and Office as administrator.


If this still does not resolve the error, I would point out that Office 2016 is currently listed as only being compatible with Act v18. See the compatibility chart for more info.

Actually its office 365 outlook 2016 which does say is compatible. I am going to attempt to re-image the machine and install office then act and see where that gets me. I'll report back any findings

Hi Richard,

On the compatibility chart, the 365 column actually relates to Office 2013 365.
Apologies, this is rather unclear. I've asked for this to be clarified.

Well I'll make a note to test the Office 2013 365 version to see if that alleviates the issue as well.
