Why is the ID/Status field no longer a drop down box? This should have a drop down box so contacts can be consistently categorized. I recently moved from 2008 to 2012 Premium/Web, and this is not a welcome change!

There has been no change in functionality for the ID/Status field. By default, this a dropdown field in both the desktop and web versions. Are other dropdown fields that worked in 2008 still working in the 2012 web version? To check the properties for this field, you will need to log in to the database from the desktop client as an Admin user, go to Tools > Define Fields, edit the ID/Satus field, and see if it is linked to a dropdown list.
