Am looking to start a discussion on how users view these two fields and how they've come to use them. For example, I can see ID/Status being used to identify a Contact as a Prospect, Customer, Employee, Resource, etc. In other words, why the contact is in the database.
I can also see using Last Results as a selection list to provide stages of classification for the ID's indicating the depth of our relationship with them. For example, choices that could be used in concert with the Prospect ID could be "Uses our type of product", "Identified Decision Maker", "Confirmed part numbers and quoted", etc. In other words, like a sales funnel function.
So, I'm curious as to how others have used these fields to manage their sales activities. Thanks in advance your input.
