I am using ACT Premium 2011 and Outlook 2007. I want to keep my Outlook Calendar and ACT Calendar separate. I use them for two different types of activities. The problem is that even though I have the calendar sync DISABLED in preferences, Outlook calendar items continue to be added to my ACT calendar. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to stop it?

If synchronization is disabled, it may be an email integration option prompting for the ACT! activities to be created. Check the settings within Email Setup and look at screen 7 of 8. See this article for details: KB Article 26832
